It didn't used to happen, but for the past few months or so, I've noticed that while playing the English Vocabulary subject, my grains-of-rice total seems to bounce up and down. I'll reach 120, for example, and then when I answer the next question correctly it will suddenly drop to zero and start over. But then a few questions later, it will rise to the number it should have been by now (say, 230). Sometimes it bounces back and forth netween the two totals.

It bothers me because I can't tell how much rice I've been able to donate. I don't know whether it's just messing up on my screen, or whether it's actually tampering with the reported rice grains total, causing you to buy less rice...

As a great tool for teachers, teachers should be able to create their own sets of questions pertaining to classroom material - book material questions, new vocab words from other foreign languages, balancing equations in Chemistry, etc.
As they add level questions, students can tell how well they know the basics in order to get to the finite details.
It would provide an excellent tool for teachers looking to inspire their students to review and for students to get easy feedback on how much they know.

There should be something to tell you approx. how many people you have fed with your donation. if it just says "364780 Grains" or whatever, it doesn't really mean anything to me. We should be able to know how many people we've actually helped. like, how many grains is in a bowl of rice anyways?

Has FreeRice ever considered having a section on their website so that users can make their own set of questions and answers? Users could make their question set and have the option of putting a picture or sound recording. They could choose to make their question set public so others could use that set to study (example: a student in Spanish I makes a vocabulary set for "Realidades Capitulo 1B". Another student may need that exact question set to use for review, so they can just search for it and find it if another user has already made it.). It would be an excellent way to study and customize the FreeRice experience. I know that if I could make my own question sets for my classes, I would be doing a lot better in my history class. This would certainly benefit everybody who needs to study for a test or memorize vocabulary, whether it is for their foreign language class or their english class.

This idea is somewhat similar to what quizlet.com allows users to do, except they do not help end world hunger.

In order to promote free rice, we started a challenge between 2 universities in Northern Cyprus. One of my colleagues - Nilgun Hancioglu has some how lost all her free rice poiints within the group EMU SFL Instructors. Would it be possible to reinstate her points please?
